"Playful Parent Mornings" is a collaboration between our Home Visiting & Early Years Education teams. This is a fun and interactive series of workshops for parents of children aged 0-6 years which support children's development through play!
Each family has the opportunity to learn from the Home visitors and early years mentors, they have the opportunity to ask questions, observe their child playing and try out new types of play together. Parents are provided with a number of tip sheets and educational resources to take home, and the children receive a little gift to take home too!

Our first Playful Parent Morning focused on Introducing Sensory Play at home. Sensory play is an important part of how young children learn in the early years, and this workshop demonstrated some ways you can provide sensory play at home.
Our second Playful Parent Morning Workshop focused on supporting social development through play. These workshops are designed to inspire parents to create more playful homes with a focus on using everyday items/ recycled materials.
